The performance was part of the official launch of 901 Editions (formerly Farmacia901). The event also featured the exhibition of graphic works realised by our studio in collaboration with co-partner and label's director Fabio Perletta. Cygni is an experimental improv duo comprised of sound/installation artist Fabio Perletta and sound designer Pierluigi Scarpantonio. Their music refuses any categorisation, working on the edge of different aesthetics and exploring the unexpected intersections between musique concrète and abstract beats. Their debut album Gesto, released in 2017 on the American LINE imprint, “is 11 skittering rhythmic/arrythmic loop-based compositions that scatter percussive elements across a sonic grid. Playful, spatial, pensive, yet dark” (Richard Chartier).
